Well…let’s see…where do I start? I’ve been playing video games since I was 4 years old, my first gaming experience being Activision’s classic Pitfall! on the Atari 2600.
I’ve owned many gaming systems over the years: Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo, Playstation, Gameboy Advance, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3, and most recently the PSP and Nintendo Wii. I know, glaring “z0mg where’s your Sega Genesis?” right? While I never owned it, I had plenty of friends who did, so trust me, no missed experiences there. I’ve also owned several PCs over the course of my life as well, so I’m well averse in PC games too.
After an exciting, but failed career in broadcasting, I have been working in cubicleland for about 8 years now, and there has been just… no end to my boredom since. There’s nothing redeeming about my work aside from the all important paycheck, so thankfully I have access to the internet and as such, a whole slew of video games at my disposal. While I’m well aware that the video gamer blog has kind of saturated the market, I figured I’d throw my hat into this ring anyway and hopefully you will find my opinions insightful and/or interesting at the very least.
