Review: Tower of Greed

Game: Tower of Greed
Developer: Epic Shadow Entertainment
Platform: Flash

This past Friday I stumbled across a little flash game on Kongregate that has been my latest addiction / way to kill time on the internet.
The concept for Tower of Greed is remarkably simple.  You’re this little white blobby guy and you have to climb and ever-ascending/scrolling [...]

Review: inFamous

Yesterday I bought my 4th Playstation 3 game for 2009, the long anticipated inFamous. At E3 2007, this trailer blew me away, it looked incredible and the concept could be epic. The game is finally out in stores almost 2 years later (and a bit earlier than Sucker Punch had believed thanks to finishing QA Testing early) and I can clearly say the wait was worth it.

This game truly is an addicting one.  I have played through and beaten in about 5 times since discovering it and there’s no sign of me stopping anytime soon.  I had intended on doing a full review of Little Big Planet or Fallout 3, but both games have gotten [...]

Yesterday was President’s Day, and all of my clients in the US were thusly not working, so yesterday was definitely a day for gaming.  I had intended to do a review of Protector, but I stumbled onto Kongregate and decided to partake in the challenge listed under [...]

Review – One Piece: Unlimited Adventure

So, I got a Wii for Christmas.  The casual first party Wii Play, Wii Sports, and mini-game collections have been amusing at best, and Mario Galaxy has been relatively fun and very innovative.  However, when it comes to third-party games for the Wii, OH MY GOD, [...]

Wow, what a gem I found yesterday.
While there’s no secret, I’m rather addicted to these tower/turret defense games,  there are some really bad ones out there.  This one, thankfully, is not.
This game is set using mages (ranged) and dexers (melee) from a “pre-pub 16″ Ultima Online (because let’s face it, [...]

There have been quite a few Playstation Network titles that have come out, some good, some bad, but none GREAT…until now.
If you’re a fan of the tower/turret defense type games (Desktop Tower Defense, Onslaught, etc) then you will definitely love this one. [...]

Ok, this review comes a little later than I would’ve liked, but I wanted to really spend some time with this game so I could give you a full opinion of it.
First off, I’ll say if you are a fan of the Burnout series, this [...]

I stumbled upon this game late yesterday afternoon, and after a thorough game session with it, I have to say it’s pretty good. It’s in the same vein as the classic WWII birds-eye view fighter jet games, 1942, 1943, and 1944.
When the game starts [...]
